Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is the difference between FIFO and LIFO, and when is each required?
A: FIFO (First In – First Out) is essential for products with short shelf life or when individual product traceability is important. LIFO (Last In – First Out) is a simpler and more cost-effective solution, suitable when the product discharge sequence is not critical.
Q: How much accumulation time do I need?
A: A good rule of thumb is to identify the most common and shortest stop in your line (for example, a 3-minute film roll change) and design a buffer system capable of “absorbing” the full line output for that duration.
Q: Will the system scratch the labels on the bottles?
A: No. Our systems are designed to operate under very low pressure. This is achieved through the use of low-friction chains and smart speed control, ensuring that products slide gently and are not forced against each other.
