Your Role as a Engineering department manager

Balance a workload of multiple projects while maintaining deadline, quality and budget project.
Work along with Project Manager to ensure detail design is corresponded with the scope of work.
Involve in each stage of the design process from PDR to CDR, including shop drawing.
Take part of creation, kick offs, design reviews, detailing, BOM, revisions and manuals.
Develop extensive knowledge in industrial standards.
Provide workshop support for ongoing projects and installations.
Be part of site visits in order to complete detailed drawing and to obtain field measurements

 

Requirements

- You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
- You are hands-on, get done, type of person.

- Clear communication oral and written form.
- High knowledge SolidWorks
- Autocad knowledge would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, food safety and sanitary design principles
- Ability to function a group environment and work independently on various projects
- Able to problem solving and hands-on.
- Proven ability to complete designs using engineered drawings.
- Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Applied knowledge of Design for Manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of automated equipment
- Comprehensive understanding of metal fabricating equipment and processes
- Applied knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques
- Candidate should excel in a team-based environment and be willing to share ideas and experiences
